Commerce Tags: Turn Your 360° Tour Into an Interactive Storefront

Beyond the static panorama

A 360° panorama shows what a space looks like. Commerce tags show what a space can do. They transform a passive viewing experience into an interactive one — letting visitors tap on objects, menus, products, and features inside your tour.

Think of them as hotspots with purpose. Instead of just labeling a point of interest, commerce tags connect viewers to actions: visiting a booking page, reading a product story, watching a how-to video, or chatting with an on-device AI assistant.

Four tag types

Link tags open any URL — your menu, reservation system, Instagram, or online store. Info Page tags display rich, block-based content (headings, text, images, buttons) without leaving the panorama. YouTube tags embed a video player inline. Chatbot tags launch an on-device AI conversation powered by Apple Foundation Models.

Each tag type has a distinct icon and interaction pattern, so viewers always know what to expect when they tap.

Placing tags in your panorama

Open any room in your location, enter the tag editor, and tap anywhere in the panorama to place a tag. Choose the type, add your content, and save. Tags are stored as part of your space data and appear instantly for anyone viewing the tour.

You can reposition tags by dragging, edit their content at any time, and delete them when they're no longer relevant. The editor shows a live preview so you can see exactly what viewers will experience.

Why it matters

Commerce tags turn exploration into engagement. A coffee shop can tag its espresso machine with a link to the bean supplier. A hotel can tag the spa entrance with a booking page. A gallery can tag each piece with an info page about the artist. The panorama becomes a living, interactive map of your business.
